Rabbi Mordechai Miller (1921-2001
This world is as real as can be, and the actions we take here have real significance. The path we are walking is wide enough to run and dance, but the precipices and drops are real as well. And in life, if you don't pay careful attention to where you put your feet, you are likely to fall. Should we hunker down infer? Not at all. We ought to go through life as energetically and gracefully as a dancer or skater in full flight, while being just as watchful as they would be of every step we take.
The caution one exerts is proportional to one's spiritual attention.
